Please could you tell me how to unlock my phone, as I’ve keyed in my PIN number wrongly.
Also, could you tell me how I can send a picture from my phone to another? I can’t find the instructions in the book

Hi Jean,
I was sorry to hear that your phone has become locked. Usually in a GSM phone the SIM card becomes locked if you enter the wrong PIN number 3 times. This is a security feature to prevent your phone being used by an unauthorised person.
The only way to unlock the SIM card now is to enter a PUK code (Personal Unblocking Key). The PUK code may have been given to you with your SIM card (check the documentation you received), but if you do not have it then you must contact your local Service Provider to get the PUK number. Be careful that you enter the PUK correctly, because if you enter this number incorrectly 10 times, then the SIM card will not work again, and you will have to replace it.
I am not sure which phone model you have, and so it is not possible to tell you exactly how to send a picture with your phone. If you are sending pictures as part of a MMS message, then you may need to activate MMS messaging by contacting your Service Provider, as this is usually a network dependent feature.
To create a MMS message, you should be able to find a menu page on your phone that offers the chance to create the message, and then you will need to attach the picture to it. There is always a section in the User Guide book that explains how this can be done. I suggest you go through the User Guide to try to find this section (it is normally called something like “Messages”, “Messaging” or “MMS”).
