I bought a Motorola A925 mobile. I have 2 problems:
- As we don’t have 3G I’m not able to enter the net. How I can enter the net?
- I need to have the ARABIC software for this mobile.

Hi Yehia,
1. Although 3G will give you the fastest access to the Net, it is still OK to use the Net with a GSM/GPRS connection. To get onto the Net you will first need to set up an Internet Account with your Service Provider, because you have to register for this feature, as it is a service supplied by your network. You should find the instructions for doing this in the manual that came with the phone (the manual is usually included on the CDROM). You can also download a copy of the manual from your local Motorola website (go to www.hellomoto.com and select your country).
In the copy of the manual that I have, setting up an Internet Account is found in the section titled “Messages and Email”, and there are 10 steps listed to set up an account. Accessing the Net is then listed under the section of the manual titled “News and Entertainment”.
2. I didn’t find much software for the A925. In fact, apart from some religious programs, the only Arabic language tool I could find is the one I give the links for below. Remember that this phone uses a Symbian UIQ operating system, and so you must find software that is compatible with this UIQ system. You can usually download a copy to give it a trial, to make sure it will work on your phone. Try looking at these pages by going to the addresses I have listed:
