Can you update the old microbrowser for the NEC e313?
What is the name of the old browser?

Sorry, but we are not able to update the browser ourselves.
I found that the browser on the NEC e313 was a NetFront3 Internet browser by ACCESS Co. Ltd. You can check their website at:
http://www.access.co.jp/english/
I see it is possible to download an updated browser from this website. However, I would urge caution that you ensure the browser update is compatible with your phone, in case you end up with a situation where the phone doesn’t work and you can’t return to the old browser.
I expect you may be with the 3 network, so possibly they will be able to help with an update?

Thank you for your help. My NEC e313 is unlocked for any network, so would that help with that update from the access website?
I get on the Internet, not WAP, with my Vodafone SIM card but find it very expensive, as a £5 top-up will sometimes last literally seconds. Have you any ideas on how I can get longer connections.
Also, I can’t get anything to download to my handset. Could that be because of the microbrowser?
Any helpful ideas on Internet issues would be gratefully received.
