I can’t receive picture messages from friends, although my phone is capable of doing so. I need settings put on my phone, IP address etc. Please could you send me all the settings I need to be able to do this?

Hi Jon,
I assume that you are referring to sending and receiving MMS messages, which can contain pictures, and the Sharp GX10i is certainly capable of handling these types of messages. However, MMS is a network dependent service, and unless you register that you want to use MMS (with your Service Provider) then it will not be switched on.
I do not know which company you are using for your phone service, but what you must do is contact them and request that you want to use MMS messaging, IP address, etc, or whatever services you need. You should be able to find this information in your User Guide, but if you cannot find it there, then I suggest you go to the website of your Service Provider (e.g. Vodafone, or whatever company you are with) to check how you can register for MMS service, which should be very easy to set up. I am sorry that it is not possible for me to do this for you.
