PlayFon Brings the Mobile Version of Twentieth Century Fox’s “Kingdom of Heaven” to Russia

On the day of the Russian premiere of Ridley Scott’s “Kingdom of Heaven” PlayFon have partnered with Sorrent Inc., the worldwide publisher of wireless entertainment to be the exclusive Russian distributor of mobile content based on the epic motion picture. As part of the agreement, PlayFon will distribute the Java-game, images and voicetones based on the blockbuster new movie.
“Kingdom of Heaven” is an epic adventure from the director of “Alien”, “Hannibal”, “Blade Runner”, and “Gladiator”. Literally thousands of extras were used to create grandiose battle scenes. The movie brings us back to Jerusalem of the XII century, reconstructing the events between the second and third Crusades. The blockbuster features Orlando Bloom, who rose to fame after starring in the trilogy “The Lord of the Rings”. The impressive cast also includes Jeremy Irons, Edward Norton, Eva Green and Liam Neeson. In Moscow alone, the movie is showing in 60 movie-theaters.
PlayFon’s subscribers have a chance to replicate the atmosphere of “Kingdom of Heaven” on their handsets by downloading exciting mobile content. In each of the 10 levels of the Java-game players can guide two main characters Balian (Bloom) and Sibylla (Green) around the city ruins, finding citizens and safely leading them to safety.
