I have tried to find information about the availability of the BlackBerry 7230 in the United Arab Emirates, but I have not been able to come up with anything at all.
If you go to the Blackberry website you can see that the Middle East is a region where Blackberry products are not supported: www.blackberry.com/worldwide/index.shtml
I think it would be best for you to check with your local Service Providers in the UAE, to see if there is any possibility that the 7230 is available now (or could be in the near future). You might find it useful to look at the information on the GSM World website at: www.gsmworld.com/roaming/gsminfo/cou_ae.shtml
Although the 7230 may not be available in the UAE, you can buy this phone from suppliers in Europe, North America, and other parts of the world, but I would not recommend that you buy the phone without being sure that it will work in the UAE, and that your local Service Providers will support this model.
One of the main reasons people buy Blackberry phones is to make use of the corporate Blackberry features, and unless your local Service Provider supports these, then you will be losing some of the functions that this phone can offer.
I am not sure why you want this phone, but if you spend time travelling outside the UAE then the 7230 may be a good choice for you, particularly in the Far East, Europe or North America. In which case, the above points may not apply. But if you intend using your phone mainly in the UAE, then I would recommend that you choose another smartphone that is available and supported in your country. You also have to consider the issues of warranty and finding a service agent if anything goes wrong with the phone, and this will be difficult if there is no Blackberry agent in the UAE.
