Can you please tell me whether the Samsung SGH-D500 mobile is available in the Gauteng area and where? Also, can you tell me whether I can get it on contract?

Hi Nick,
I spent some time trying to find a source to get the SGH-D500 on contract, but unfortunately I couldn't come up with any suppliers who market this phone. It is apparently available in South Africa, but is possibly still too new to easily get hold of one.
I think it will probably be easier for you to check the phone's availability in Gauteng, and I suggest, if you have not already done so, you should go to the Samsung website and send them a message. You can ask Samsung what local stores stock this model. But I think you will have to ask about contracts when you track down the phone.

I know that this phone is available mail order from the UK, but that is contract free, which I guess is not what you are looking for.
