Animated screensaver

Animated screensaver is a changing pattern or animation, which replaces the original screen image when a mobile phone has been idle for a predetermined period of time.

The use of a screensaver is designed to prevent damage that might result when fixed bright images remain on the screen for long periods. Only the more recent mobile phone models currently include animated screensavers.
