Control Channels (CCH) are used in GSM systems to communicate signalling information between Mobile Stations (MS) and networks.
Four types of control channel are used: Broadcast Channels (BCH), Common Control Channels (CCCH), Dedicated Control Channels (DCCH), and Associated Control Channels (ACCH).
