Kasumi

Kasumi is a block cipher encryption algorithm used by 3G. It supercedes the older A5 and Comp128 algorithms used in earlier mobile communication protocols, and is based on a public design called Misty, which has been openly analyzed and tested over a period of years. All keys used in Kasumi are 128 bits long. The use of Kasumi in 3G allows for total encryption of communications and data, unlike implementations of earlier technology which can leak IMSI numbers and other information.
