Lithium Polymer (Li-Po) is a recent battery technology for mobile phones, and was a development from Li-Ion cells. Li-Po batteries have more capacity in the same volume than Li-Ion, which means more Talk Time, more Standby Time, and longer time between charges.
Li-Po batteries are very light and can be made very thin, so enabling the highest battery life for the size.
