Megabits per Second

Also known as: Mbps

Megabits per Second (Mbps) is a commonly used unit of measurement in telecommunications for the rate or speed at which data is transferred. One Mbps is equal to one million bits per second. Data rate also gives a measure of the bandwidth on a digital data transmission channel.
