Monophonic Ringtone

Monophonic Ringtone is the sound made by a phone when it receives a call, and it usually takes the form of a simple tune. A monophonic ringtone means that the phone will only play one tone at a time, i.e. the tunes will be limited to a sequence of tones sounding one after the other. Although monophonic ringtones are more complex and distinctive than a standard repeated tone, they can still sound rather mechanical and unmusical.

Ringtones are available in many popular tunes, which can be downloaded from companies that specialise in producing fashionable ringtones.
