NiMH

Also known as: Nickel Metal Hydride

Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) is a type of rechargeable battery used to power mobile phones. They were introduced in the early 1990s as an improvement over Nickel Cadmium (NiCd).

NiMH can store more energy than NiCd batteries, and they suffer much less from memory effect.
