QinetiQ
Skip contentQinetiQ is a company that was formed when DERA (Defence Evaluation and Research Agency) separated into two organisations on 2 July 2001.
QinetiQ has been responsible for several projects in the field of telecommunications, and it developed the technology for a single antenna to simultaneously receive and transmit all five 3G operators' radio signals - without loss of performance - thus improving service, reducing costs, and causing fewer public concerns about health and the numbers of transmitter sites needed.
QinetiQ has also published a White Paper on the security issues involving wireless technologies and mobile devices such as phones, PDAs and laptop computers.
