Talk Time

Talk time is the total time (in hours or minutes) that a fully charged battery can power a mobile phone whilst making a continuous call.

Unless the phone is turned off, or the battery recharged, the available talk time gradually reduces as power is used by the phone for standby, gaming, SMS, calls made, etc. Talk time is much shorter than standby time because transmission requires more power.
