LG C1200 mobile phone

LG C1200 is a dual band mobile phone with the classic clamshell design. This handset is exclusive to T-Mobile and is a very small and lightweight model. However, the phone still manages to pack in some useful features, including MMS multimedia messaging, GPRS and WAP technology, voice memo recorder, a selection of polyphonic ringtones, and it is also Java™ enabled. In addition to the more advanced features, this model includes the standard tools usually found in modern mobile phones, such as a personal organiser, predictive text input, vibration alert, calculator and alarm clock.

LG C1200The C1200 has a large internal LCD display with a good resolution of 128 x 160 pixels, which has the capability to reproduce up to 65,536 different colours; this screen also provides a good means to view the pictures that you use with the phone, and send in messages. Being MMS enabled, it is possible to use this phone to send and receive messages containing a combination of pictures, animations, sounds and text. As is usual with clamshell phones, there is a second small screen on the outside of the case, which is a one-line display that shows details such as the caller’s identity, signal strength, and the condition of the battery.

Another useful feature of the LG C1200 is its Java™ capability, which means the phone can run a variety of Java applications and games. More of these programs can be downloaded when you want to change them.

The C1200 has GPRS and WAP technology built-in, and this provides the user with a fast and “always on” access to the network services, including the mobile Internet. With this Internet access you are able to make use of the information and other services now provided for the mobile phone user. If you need more content, such as polyphonic ringtones and pictures, then this can be downloaded from the t-zones at T-Mobile’s WAP portal.
