Skip contentMotorola V60i is a tri-band mobile phone for worldwide roaming, and it is designed in a stylish clamshell case. Features included in this handset are its integrated GPRS and WAP technology, voice control, Java™ capability for games and applications, voice memo recording, and active flip. This phone does not support MMS multimedia messaging, however it does have EMS capability, which allows you to send and receive simple logos, animations and sounds with a text.
The V60i has dual displays, with the larger internal display being a monochrome screen having a resolution of 96 x 64 pixels. The external display shows you information such as the time and date, and also information about the caller identity.
There is plenty of scope to add your own personal touches to the V60i, by introducing new wallpapers, animations, logos and ringtones, and all of these can be downloaded when you feel the need to change them. Another feature that you might find useful is the onboard ringtone composer, which enables you to create your own ringtone melodies. For those who want to change the external appearance of the phone there is also a choice of changeable outer covers available.
With the integrated GPRS data transmission technology, and the phone’s WAP browser, you have fast access to use the mobile Internet, and the opportunity to seek the information and services available from the many WAP sites. You can download pictures, animations and sounds from the Web pages that you visit.
Data connectivity in the Motorola V60i is via a serial or USB cable, and this gives you the opportunity to link up to a PC or PDA, and to then exchange files and data. You also have the possibility to synchronise your personal information, such as schedules and phonebook, by using the supplied TrueSync® software.
If you need music on the move, or want the chance to listen to some broadcast radio stations, then there is an optional accessory HFM8000 headset, which allows you to use the phone as a FM stereo radio receiver.
