Nokia 3100 mobile phone
Skip contentNokia 3100 is a tri-band mobile phone with simple candy bar styling. The phone has several useful features including its support for MMS, a hands-free speaker, flashing backlights, polyphonic ringtones, and Internet access.
The display is an acceptable 4096 colour 128 x 128 pixels LCD, which is used to view the menus and to present pictures and gaming. There is no integrated camera but the Nokia Fun Camera with flashgun can be plugged in, and is available as an optional extra.
With its MMS capability the phone is able to send and receive messages containing text, audio, and images; the pictures and sounds can be saved as wallpapers and ringing tones to personalise your phone. Being Java™ enabled the phone is capable of running a wide range of Java applications and games, and it is possible to download more of these over the Internet.
As part of its fun appeal the Nokia 3100 has a glow-in-the-dark cover, and the backlighting flashes during game playing and as a call alert warning. To enable you to customise your phone the covers are changeable, and further wallpapers, animated screensavers and ringtones are available for downloading.
Connectivity is via a USB cable, and this offers you the opportunity to exchange data with a PC or other compatible device. The inclusion of GPRS and WAP allows you to have Internet access while mobile, and enables you to browse the Web.
