Nokia 6310i mobile phone

Nokia 6310i is a tri-band mobile phone for global use on 5 continents, and it is a candy bar styled handset. This phone is an updated version of 6310, and it has a range of useful features onboard, including Bluetooth™ wireless connectivity, voice memo recorder, Java™ enabled for games and applications, voice control, and it supports GPRS, HSCSD and WAP technologies.

Nokia 6310iThe Nokia 6310i has a small monochrome display and does not support MMS multimedia messaging, and so picture quality will not be a main reason why you would wish to buy this phone.

With the Java™ capability in the Nokia 6310i you can further enhance the usefulness of your phone by downloading new applications and games from a wide choice of programs now available from many WAP sites.

With the GPRS “always on” connection and a WAP browser, the Nokia 6310i gives you the opportunity to make good use of the mobile Internet. You can surf the Web and find WAP sites that provide the services you need, and you then have the capability to download information that you find there.

The Bluetooth™ connection enables you to wirelessly link up with any compatible device in the near vicinity (within a 10 metres range), for example a PDA, a laptop computer or another Bluetooth enabled phone, and you are then able to exchange files with that device. There is also the other wireless connection option of using an infrared link to exchange files with compatible devices, and so this offers good choice when transferring data, and synchronising your personal files with other equipment and organisers.

The addition of voice control for dialling and a voice memo recorder are also features that will appeal to some users.
