Nokia 6800 mobile phone

Nokia 6800 is a dual band mobile phone with a candy bar styling, but when the phone is turned horizontally and opened up a full QWERTY keyboard is revealed. Other useful features of this phone are its FM stereo radio, and a speakerphone for hands-free conversations.

Nokia 6800The Nokia 6800 has a reasonably sized 128 x 128 pixels LCD screen, supporting up to 4096 colours, which is adequate for viewing the pictures you are sent, playing games, and scrolling through the menu options. With multimedia messaging (MMS), you can receive messages containing a text, a polyphonic tone, and an image, which can be saved as a ringing tone and as wallpaper. You are also able to send and forward messages containing images and text to other MMS compatible phones.

If you wish you might download more ringtones, pictures, or animations to personalise the look and sound of the phone. The Java™ enabled feature means that more games and applications can also be downloaded to enhance the uses of this handset, and to meet the needs of the user.

The Nokia 6800’s support for GPRS and HSCSD provides high data transmission rates for taking advantage of the latest digital services, and being WAP enabled means that you have access to the mobile Internet. The QWERTY keyboard comes in useful for text-based applications, and a full keyboard makes it particularly easy to compose long messages using the mobile e-mail facility, and for quicker participation in some real time SMS chat.

Good connectivity is also provided via cable or infrared connection, to enable you to link up with compatible devices such as a PC in order to exchange files and synchronise personal data.
