The Nokia 8310 has an 84 x 48 pixels resolution screen, which is a monochrome display that can show up to 5 lines of text. There is no MMS, and so messaging is limited to sending and receiving simple graphics to compatible phones using SMS.
For those who like to customise their phone, Nokia produce a range of different translucent Xpress-on™ changeable covers for the Nokia 8310, and it is possible to mix and match these covers to select the style that suits you. You can also download new ringtones when you want to change the way the phone sounds.
With its built-in GPRS technology the Nokia 8310 gives you that “always on” connection, and instant access to those mobile Internet services that you need to use. There is now a wide range of services available to you via the phone’s WAP browser, and this provides you with all the latest news, sport, weather, traffic, entertainment and other information you want to know about.
