Skip contentSAGEM myX-1 is a dual band mobile phone with a standard candy bar styled body. This is a basic model with limited special features, but it does include a WAP browser, is EMS enabled, preloaded with games, and has a speakerphone for conducting hands-free conversations.
This phone has a monochrome green backlit display, and the resolution of the screen is a reasonable 96 x 64 pixels. This screen displays the menu selections and graphical images that the phone can handle, and being EMS enabled it is possible to send and receive text messages combined with icons, animations and melodies.
There is a range of changeable covers available in different colours to fit the SAGEM MyX-1, so that you can alter the phone’s physical appearance. There is also the possibility to customise the display to personal taste by downloading new icons and animated screensavers, as well as adding a new ringtone to the phone.
The SAGEM MyX-1 can be linked up to a PC using a standard data cable, and you then have the capability to exchange any compatible pictures, sounds and other files that you have available. There are also several useful extra facilities in this phone, including a calculator, currency converter, timer, and an alarm function.
The WAP feature in the SAGEM MyX-1w allows you to use the mobile Internet and to gain access to the information there, so that you can use your phone to keep in touch with the WAP sites and their news, sports, weather, traffic, entertainments and other useful services.
