Sendo S360 mobile phone

Sendo S360 is a dual band mobile phone in a typical candy bar style case. This is a basic model that will suit the user who needs a simple handset for voice calls, but who would also like the phone to perform a few other useful functions. The features of the phone include GPRS and WAP technology, MMS multimedia messaging, and a selection of polyphonic ringtones. For entertainment this model comes preloaded with 2 games to play, the titles being Tenpin and Splat.

Sendo S360The display on the S360 is a passive CSTN type of LCD, and it offers a resolution of 128 x 128 pixels with a reproduction of up to 65,536 different colours. Being MMS enabled means that you can use this phone for the sending and receiving of multimedia messages, and each MMS may be up to a maximum 100 kB file size. Such MMS messages can contain a combination of text, pictures and sounds. However, as this phone does not have its own camera, it will be necessary to download the pictures you wish to use, or recycle those that are sent to you.

The S360 has the capability to be personalised, so the user can change the themes, wallpapers, screensavers and ringtones, and when you need more content this can be easily downloaded to add new sights and sounds. For more dramatic customisation, it is possible to change the external covers and give the phone a completely new look. One useful caller ID feature is the ability to attach a unique ringtone and picture to a contact, so that you can quickly identify your caller from the chosen sound and image.

With its integrated GPRS technology the S360 is able to achieve fast data transfer to and from the network, and this provides the added benefit of an “always on” connection. A WAP 2.0 browser is another feature, and this allows the user access to the mobile Internet. With more and more activities being handled by digital data services, this phone will enable the user to take advantage of the many WAP sites now available, and to access those online services and sources of information that are obtainable from a mobile phone.

The S360 does not have any particular organiser facilities, although it does have a clock and alarm. There is 2 MB of memory to be shared between the features, and it is possible to store up to 250 of your contact’s numbers in the phonebook, with 3 numbers and an e-mail address for each contact. This phone also supports T9predictive text input and has a vibrating alert.
