Sony Ericsson T310 mobile phone
Skip contentSony Ericsson T310 is a tri-band mobile phone in a candy bar style form. This phone is an updated version of the T300, and includes within its specification the following features: support for GPRS and HSCSD data handling technology, a WAP browser with cHTML capability, support for MMS multimedia messaging, digital voice recorder, a standard e-mail client, and polyphonic ringtones.
The backlit LCD colour display has a resolution of 101 x 80 pixels, and it can support a range of up to 256 different colours. There is no integrated camera, but an optional accessory camera (the MCA-25) is available to plug into the handset. For those who like music on the move, a plug-in FM stereo radio is also available as an optional accessory.
With the T310’s MMS capability you are able to send and receive messages containing pictures, sounds and text to and from other compatible phones. Pictures can be modified using the phone’s onboard picture editor. With a built-in sound recorder, you also have the possibility to add your own voice or sounds to enhance an MMS message.
The Sony Ericsson T310 is not Java™ enabled, and so cannot run Java applications. However, there are 3 games embedded in this phone, and if you want to access more of these a range of Mophun™ games can be downloaded. It is also possible to customise the phone by downloading new wallpapers, logos and graphics, as well as to add a few more polyphonic ringtones to make the phone sound different.
The Sony Ericsson T310 has fast access to the mobile Internet via its support for the GPRS, HSCSD and WAP technologies, and the joystick navigation control makes it easier to steer around the WAP pages when you need to select the options required. Another useful asset in this phone is its email client, which allows you to send and receive e-mails using the standard protocols of POP3, IMAP4 and SMTP.
This phone can also link up to PCs and other compatible devices via its wireless infrared link, or alternatively to use a wired RS232 data cable connection. This interface to other equipment enables you to exchange files and data between the phone and other devices you link up with.
